For his 65th birthday Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell releases new video

Since the Swede Henning Mankell won the CWA Gold Dagger for Sidetracked some 12 years ago he has become a celebrated crime and thriller with a British adaptation of the successful Wallander books and interest across the literary spectrum.

To mark his 65th birthday a video interview has been released. It has clips of the Branagh TV series and we see Henning at ease discussing his books. From what what he says he has plenty more ideas for books. Although as something of a polymath we cannot say in which direction will take him. Still the video interview is well worth watching.

Three signed limited editions have been issued in the Scorpion Press series: The White Lioness, The Man Who Smiled and Kennedy’s Brain. They were all published simultaneously with the trade first edition and issued in a uniform style of binding with a tan leather spine,  tan and turquoise green marbled paper and matching top edge, finished with gold blocking.

For an author that has achieved such an impact they represent good value to the collector.
