Excluding our new books the best selling author for Scorpion Press in 2013 was Ian Rankin. All the Rankin titles issued continued to sell.\u00a0 These included the anthology No Alibi<\/em> (1995), short story collection, Beggars Banquet<\/em> (2002), the Rebus novels Fleshmarket Close<\/em> (2004) and The Naming of the Dead <\/em>(2006), the stand alone art deception novel Doors Open<\/em> (2008), and the more recent return of Rebus novel Standing on Another Man’s Grave<\/em> (2012).\u00a0 Stock of many of these earlier titles are just a few copies.<\/p>\n

Two other earlier Ian Rankin books issued by the Scorpion Press were sold out or so low in stock they were taken off the website.\u00a0 The Hanging Garden<\/em> (1998) sold out on publication and is now a rarity.\u00a0 And A Question of Blood<\/em> (2003) was down to just one copy!<\/p>\n
